NorWest Co-op Community Food Centre
is a welcoming place where people come together to share a good meal, join
a cooking group, grow a garden, learn about healthy eating and get active on
issues in the community.
We are located in the community of
Inkster, a north end neighbourhood where you will find some of Winnipeg’s
highest rates of poverty, food insecurity, and unemployment. With your support,
we can bring the community together and create change in individual lives, all
through the power of good food.
Your support gives area residents of all ages and backgrounds free access to community cooking classes, drop-in programs, food skills training, a community garden, free lunch and breakfast programs, an outdoor bake oven and a low-cost good food market.
